Scale Sculpture.
Scale was the second collaboration between Rhys Cooper and Matt for the 2016 Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures. Influenced by maritime themes, it is a foray into the world of public sculptures. Over 200 timber shingles are affixed to a skeletal frame that has roots in boat construction. The timber was left raw in order to weather and age in the sun and salt air, much like a shipwrecked boat would.
